Kentucky. Circuit Court (Butler County)
The Circuit Court handles civil matters which involve more that $1,500 as well as capitol offenses and felonies. Between 1802 and 1849 the Court ruled on divorce petitions. Other functions of this court include equity matters such as land title problems, contested probate of wills, appeals from the district court, and appeals from administrative agencies.
