Dravo Corporation
Dravo Corporation was founded by Francis R. Dravo in 1890. Originally, Dravo produced steam engines and then branched out to produce other steel products such as ships, mine shafts and caissons. Adverse economic conditions in the 1970's and 1980's forced Dravo to sell many of their facilities.
