United Nations Association of Los Angeles
The United Nations Assn. of Los Angeles had its origins in the Los Angeles League of Nations Assn.; after the American Assn. for the United Nations (AAN) was formed, this became the LA chapter; in the mid-1950s, the name United Nations Assn. of LA was adopted; in 1964 the national assn. became known as the UN Assn.
