Makhrov, Petr Semenovich, 1877-1964
Variant namesMakhrov entered the army as a private in the 1890s, and then worked his way up through the ranks. He achieved general's rank during World War I. He was White army chief of staff under Denikin and Wrangel in 1920, and then served as Wrangel's military representative in Poland in 1920-1921.
