Student athlete and race track official.
James Linnehan was born in Newton Centre, Massachusetts in 1892. He attended both Boston College High School and Boston College. In college, Linnehan played both baseball and football and captained both sports during his senior year. He graduated in 1915 and later served as an official at the Suffolk Downs and Narragansett race tracks. Linnehan died in 1945.
