Annie Daniels, pioneer Pima County educator and superintendent of Pima County schools, 1921-1930, was instrumental in organizing the Y.W.C.A. and the Arizona Children's Home. She was the wife of Ben F. Daniels, Pima County Sheriff, U.S. Marshall, miner, superintendent of prisons at Yuma, and one of Theodore Roosevelt's Rough Riders.
