Farmborough family.
The Farmborough family were members of the Society of Friends also known as Quakers. Thomas Farmborough the Elder was a cane chair maker of London. He had one son who willed his property to his five married nieces, Mercy Barber, Susannah How, Hannahbella Bell, Gulielma Zachary, and Mariabella Eliot. Of these, only two descendants, Richard How and John Eliot, lived at the time of the will.
