Nason, Jerry
Sportswriter and editor.
Paul E. (Jerry) Nason graduated from Newton High School in 1927. Beginning at age seventeen, he worked at the BOSTON GLOBE as a copy boy and ultimately became the GLOBE's Executive Sports Editor. Nason retired in 1974. He died on June 19, 1986 at the age of seventy-seven.
