McPheeters, John W., 1908-1944.
Indianapolis native and resident. Established three soap manufacturing businesses in Indianapolis. Was killed in Italy during World War II. His wife and business partner, Jeannette Epler McPheeters, took over the businesses and expanded their markets with trips to South America and Europe.
