Libonati, Roland V. (Roland Victor), 1900-1991
Variant namesLibonati was a lawyer who served as Illinois State Representative, 1931-1935, 1941-1943; State Senator, 1943-1957; and U.S. Representative (Seventh Dist. of Ill.) 1958-1965. He was known as an orator and played a role in the passage of the 1964 Civil Rights Act.
