Winborne, John Wallace, 1884-1966

John Wallace Winborne (1884-1966) was a graduate of the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, N.C., and a justice of the North Carolina Supreme Court, 1937-1962, including serving as chief justice, 1956-1962.

John Wallace Winborne (1884-1966), was a graduate of the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill and a justice of the North Carolina Supreme Court. Winborne was a native of Chowan County, N.C., but spent most of his life at Marion in McDowell County, N.C.
