Dalton, William, 1802-1873
Dr. William Dalton M.R.C.S., F.R.C.S., M.R.C.P. was born in Swansea. He had a distinguished medical apprenticeship in London. Although a surgeon by profession, he was also an excellent sailor. Following his Pacific travels, he settled in England and enjoyed a leading reputation as an obstetrician and general practitioner.
