Pisgah Presbyterian Church (Woodford County, Ky.)
The church was established in 1784 with the Rev. Adam Rankin as its pastor.
In 1794, a school, known as the Kentucky Academy, was created at the church site. This institution was united with Transylvania Seminary in 1798 to form Transylvania University. The church has continued to flourish up to the present time.
