Catholic supporter of the Jesuits.
Born in 1892 near New Roads, Louisiana, Dayries lived much of her life in New Orleans. She was once a nun and she remained close to the religious life, especially to several Jesuit priests, and to Loyola University of New Orleans. She died in 1984 in Covington, Louisiana.
