H. Groh received his associate diploma in agriculture in 1903 and his B.S.A. degree in 1908 (after 3 years on the farm). After graduation, H, Groh joined the staff of the new Horticultural Experimental Station, Vineland, Ont. but later that year went to work for the Central Experimental Farm, Ottawa. From 1911-1921 he was manager of the home farm at Preston, Ont. , with intervals of field work for Division of Botany, Central Experimental Farm and of teaching agriculture at Goshen College, Goshen, Ind., Plant Disease Investigator, Manitoba, under Division of Botany, Central Experimental Farm, 1921-1922, and Botanist, 1922. He died in 1971.
