Eliason, Howard Russell, b. 1901.
Captain (CPT) Howard R. Eliason was born on 23 July 1901 in Washington, D.C. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from George Washington University. Eliason was commissioned a 2nd lieutenant on 26 September 1926 in the Military Intelligence Reserve, U.S. Army. During World War II, he was assigned to Blue Grass Ordnance Depot, Richmond, Kentucky as an intelligence officer and trained at the Provost Marshal General's School in Fort Sam Houston, Texas for prisoner of war (POW) administration work. Eliason finished his career with the 1612th Service Company at Fort Sheridan, Illinois, in 1946.
