Seattle University Guild.
In 1948, before Seattle University established its offices of advancement and public relations, Father Lemieux, SJ inaugurated the Seattle University Guild and invited prominent Seattle women to assist him in promoting Seattle University to the wider Seattle civic community. During a vibrant thirty year history the Guild sponsored cultural and social events that received prominent coverage in Seattle newspapers.
