Stebbins, George S. (George Stanford)
Variant namesMajor in 301st Infantry AEF and saw action in France during World War I. Became attached to the American Commission to Negotiate Peace in Paris in 1919. Became colonel in the 1920's and commanded the 302nd Infantry Regiment at Fort Devens, Mass. (1920's-1930's).
