Pennypack Baptist Church.
As early as 1686, Baptist families of English-Welsh origin resided on the Pennypack Creek, north of Philadelphia, organized a church in 1688 known as the Lower Dublin Baptist Church but commonly called the Pennypack Baptist Church. This Pennypack Church was the Baptist mother church for Pennsylvania, Maryland, New Jersey and New York.
