From 1933-1945 Griffiths worked at John Nichols Manufacturing Company of Manchester, England; 1945-1947 at Patrons & Baldwin in Yorkshire, England; 1947-1951 at Cosmos Imperial in Ontario, Canada; 1951-1961 at William E. Hooper & Sons in Baltimore, Maryland; and 1961-[?] at Mount Vernon Mills in Baltimore, Maryland.
