Dr. Allen D. Albert was a noted civic leader, historian, sociologist and professor at Emory University. He also served as chairman of the Local Government Commission which engineered the Plan of Improvement for Atlanta in 1952, President of the Atlanta Art Association and many other positions of civic leadership.
