Cheryl Elizabeth Mann of Burlington, North Carolina was a student at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Mann graduated in 1971 with a Bachelor's degree in Sociology. As a student, she was highly active, participating in Overseas Study in London, serving as Elliott Hall President, Class Commissioner, Class Secretary, and Westminster Fellowship Council Section Leader. Mann was also a member of the Ring Committee, the Junior Ring Dance Committee, Junior Show, SNEA, the Sociology - Anthropology Club, Golden Chain, Harriett Elliott Lecture Committee, Orientation Committee, Study Development Committee, and the Honor Roll. She was honored as an Outstanding Senior in the 1971 Pine Needles.
