East End Reading Club (Boulder, Colo.)
Mrs. Alexander Durward organized the East End Reading Club in December of 1916, for the purposes of becoming better acquainted with her neighbors and learning more of the current good books. Durward invited fifteen ladies into her home, thus beginning the long history of the club. The club met in members' homes in Boulder, Colorado, on the first and third Fridays of each month from October to June.
