Hernández de Alba, Guillermo, 1906-1988
Variant namesGuillermo Hernandez de Alba was born in Bogota in 1906. A rigorous historian, Hernandez de Alba was the most prominent colonial historian of his time. He was a member of the Academies of History of Colombia, Venezuela and Panama, several academies of American history and geography, and Spanish and American Studies of the Société des Paris.
