A boarding school was opened on the Oneida Reservation in 1892. It was under the jurisdiction of the Green Bay Agency. The school was made independent of Green Bay in 1895 and made an agency in 1900. The school closed in 1919 and the agency abolished. The Oneida Indians were then assigned to the Keshena Agency, until 1932, when they were transferred to the Tomah School.
