Price, "Shorty", 1921-1980.
Ralph "Shorty" Price, a resident of Louisville, Ala., and World War II veteran, attended the University of Alabama, and made numerous runs for public office. Beginning in 1950 until 1974 Price made thirteen attempts to be elected to the U.S. Congress, the Alabama legislature, and as Alabama Governor.
