Bowling, William Bismark, 1870-1946.
Bowling, a native of Calhoun County, Alabama, taught and practiced law before becoming solicitor for the fifth Alabama circuit court (1905-1920). He served as U.S. Congressman (1920-1928) and judge for the fifth Alabama circuit court (1928-1946). His son, George Randolph Bowling, graduated from Alabama Polytechnic Institute in 1917.
