The UK Data Archive holds approximately 200 contemporary and historical datasets with geographical coverage of Scotland at the national or sub-national level. The more recent of these include several large-scale series that have been financed primarily by the Scottish Executive with the aims of informing government policy and providing representative information about those resident in Scotland, including employment, education, behaviour, attitudes, health, and victimisation. UK Data Archive also holds a number of datasets covering the United Kingdom or Great Britain, including most of the UK Data Archive major studies series, that also include data on Scotland.
