Wood, George W. (George Warren), 1844-1924
Variant namesBorn in Constantinople to missionary parents, George W. Wood became a Presbyterian minister and missionary to the Native Americans in Michigan, the Dakotas and Minnesota. He lived in Fairhope, Alabama about 1900 and was treasurer of the Fairhope Single Tax Corporation. George W. Wood died on Jan. 21, 1924.
