Herbert Edwin Lombard (1863-1940), son of Henry Faulkner and Nellie Callahan Lombard, was born in Sutton, Mass., and graduated from the Bangor Theological Seminary in 1896. He was a pastor of several Congregational churches in Massachusetts and was a member of the Masons. In 1913, he was elected a member of the American Antiquarian Society, because of his interested in bibliographical research, bookplate collection, and American literature. He died in Worcester, Mass.
