Babcock, George
Variant namesThe Northport Community Association, founded in 1918 to "provide for the comfort and entertainment of such soldiers quartered at Brindley Field," which was located south of Northport in Commack. It ceased to operate in 1919 when the temporary airfield was no longer needed to train flyers. George Babcock was the secretary of the association.
