Military Academy, 1879; from Michigan University, 1883; studied law and was admitted to the bar, 1885; became junior partner in the law firm Duffield & Duffield; after the death of his father, 1891, he practiced alone with great ability; became director of Dime Savings Bank and other companies; was connected with various clubs and benevolent societies; died in Detroit, Nov. 24, 1929.
