Penn State Girls' Service Organization
Variant namesThe Girls' Service Organization (GSO) was formed as part of the United Service Organizations (USO) during World War II in order to organize women between the ages of 18 and 30 to serve as social partners and provide wholesome recreational opportunities for men in the United States armed forces.
