James Bryan was Treasurer of Georgia in 1781.

"Nathan Brownson was governor of Georgia for the last few months of the critical year of 1781, when Georgia was attempting to reestablish its government after the British were driven out of Augusta during the American Revolution (1775-83). He was the first physician to serve as governor of Georgia." - "Nathan Brownson." New Georgia Encyclopedia. http://www.georgiaencyclopedia.org (Retrieved July 25, 2008)

Samuel Stirk was supposed to be born in Georgia, however, it is not certain. Mr. Stirk was appointed the clerk of the Executive Council of Georgia in 1777. He was elected a delegate to the Continental Congress in 1781 and was later elected Attorney General of Georgia in January 1783. Mr. Stirk was also one of the justices for Chatham County in 1786 as well as in 1789. During 1789 he was President of the Board of Wardens of Savannah.

Joseph Woodruff was a distinguished officer of the Continental Army, born in London, England. He married Mary Forrester and came to Georgia in 1788, settling eventually in what was then the Parish of St. John - the Georgia cradle of independence. He was a large land owner, with plantations on various partys of the coast, but was not afraid to jeopardize his holdings in the cause for freedom. Just before the siege of Savannah, Colonel Woodruff was dangerously wounded in the thigh, at Ogeechee Bridge, in 1778. Afterwards, he served as Deputy Quartermaster-General and sat both in the House of Assembly and in the Executive Council. He died in 1799.
