Lynne Darcy

Lynne Darcy, a lawyer and National Organization for Women (NOW) activist, was born May 15, 1941, in New York City. She received her B.A. in chemistry from Case Western Reserve University (1962), and her J.D. from the University of Michigan (1978). LD was employed by RCA Laboratories (1962-1978), the law firm of Kenyon & Kenyon (1979-1984), Lever Brothers Company (1984-1988), and Darcy, Donovan & Coleman (1988-1990). She rejoined Kenyon & Kenyon in 1990.

LD was treasurer of Central New Jersey NOW (ca. 1970-1971), coordinator of the Central New Jersey NOW Employment Task Force (ca. 1970-1973), coordinator of New Jersey Women on Employment, a statewide coalition of New Jersey women's groups, including NOW (ca. 1971-1973), and coordinator of the National Organization for Women's Task Force on Compliance and Enforcement (1973-1976), as well as the Task Force on Task Forces (ca. 1974-1976).
