Church, Benjamin, 1639-1718

Born in Plymouth, Mass., Benjamin Church was a veteran of King Philip's War. From 1689 through 1704, during King George's and Queen Anne's wars, he commanded five Massachusetts expeditions to the east against the French and Indians.
