Plimpton, Emory M., ca. 1827-ca. 1888.
A native of Ohio, Plimpton was a lawyer when he enlisted as captain of Company M, 4th Michigan Cavalry on August 13, 1862. He was discharged due to disability March 31, 1863 and returned to his law practice in Michigan.
