Raymond Pace Alexander and Sadie Tanner Mossell Alexander were prominent Philadelphia lawyers. Sadie Alexander was Henry Tanner's niece; Raymond Alexander represented Tanner in his legal suit against the Mother Bethel A.M.E. Church in Philadelphia.
