Peal, W. Hugh, 1898-
Variant namesW. Hugh Peal graduated from the University of Kentucky in 1922. He became one of the first Rhodes Scholars from the university. He studied Law at Oxford and became a successful lawyer in New York. He received an honorary LL.D. from the University of Kentucky in 1959. In 1981 Peal donated his collection of rare books and manuscripts to the University of Kentucky Libraries.
