Stella Miller was born at Buffalo, N.D. in 1893. She graduated from the University of Minnesota and taught school. She met Cordon Coon of Mankato, Minnesota at Buffalo and they were married in 1919. He served in World War I. They lived in Montana before returning to Buffalo to manage the Miller farm. They both died in 1986.
