West, James E.
West was a resident of Rensselaer and Washington Counties, N.Y., residing in Grafton, Berlin, Lebanon Springs, Hoosick and Whitehall, N.Y. He had taken photographs at all these places. During his early career he employed a horse-drawn wagon to travel from town to town. It was eventually made into a studio and darkroom.
