Sun Oil Trust (Butte, Mont.)
The Sun Oil Trust was formed on December 31, 1919, in Butte, Montana, with J. P. Hanson, T. H. Wilson, Leo C. Scrogin, J. F. Emigh, and Ralph W. Rich as trustees. The trust acquired oil properties in the oil fields near Moorcroft, Wyoming and began drilling and production in 1920.
