Case, James A., 1838-1903.
James Augustus Case was born in Cumberland Township, Rhode Island, on November 4, 1838, to James R. (1812-1886) and Elizabeth A. (Wilkinson) Case. Longtime chairman of the Nininger town board, he married Mary A. Bottomly in 1862 and removed the entire family to Montevideo, Minnesota, in 1879. He died on April 30, 1903.
