Kaehler, Siegfried A. (Siegfried August), 1885-1963
Variant namesFriedrich Meinecke, 1862-1954, was a German historian and intellectual, whose humanist views incurred disfavour during the Nazi period. In 1948 he became Rector of the Free University of Berlin. Siegfried August Kaehler was an historian who held teaching posts at a number of North American universities
