Mudgett, Gilman (Gilman Clifford), 1901-
Variant namesGilman Clifford Mudgett (b. March 7, 1901, Valley City, N.D.), U.S. Army officer, graduated from West Point in 1922. He served in the European Theater of Operations during World War II and with the 8th Army in Korea. During the 1950s, he was chief of information, Department of the Army, and commanding general, 5th Infantry Division, and of U.S. Army, Alaska.
