Ellms, Charles, fl. 1830.
Charles Ellms (fl. 1830) was a Boston stationer who gave up trade and undertook the compiling of almanacs and books with popular titles. His published works include: _The Comic Almanac for 1835_ (Boston, [1834]); _The Pirates Own Book_ ... (1836; reprinted, Salem, 1924); _Robinson Crusoe's Own Book_ ... (Boston, 1842); _Shipwrecks and Disasters at Sea_ ...(Boston, 1836); and _The Tragedy of the Seas_ ...(New York, 1841).
