Hamilton & Hood
John Hamilton was a merchant in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, in the early 19th century. He traded alone and under at least two partnerships, Hamilton & Drew and Hamilton & Hood. John M. Hood, Hamilton's partner in the latter venture, also worked as a merchant in Philadelphia. Hamilton, Hood, and their partnerships traded in food, alcohol, and tobacco.
