Burnham, Henry P., 1848-1864.
Henry P. Burnham, of Williamstown, Vt., was born Dec. 11, 1843, the son of David (b.1802) and Betsy Olds Burnham (1803-1862). He enlisted August 5, 1862, as a private in the 10th Vermont Regiment, Co. G. During 1863 and 1864 he saw action in Virginia when his Regiment was involved in the Wilderness Campaign and the Battles of Spotsylvania, Cold Harbor, and Winchester, among others. Burnham was killed at the Battle of Cedar Creek on October 19, 1864.
