Appointed Private Secretary to Sir Ronald Munro-Ferguson on 1915 Oct. 26. Acted as his Military Secretary Feb.-June 1916. Military Secretary 1916 June 21 -1918 Aug. 5. On 1920 Feb. 24, he was appointed Private Secretary to the Governor of Western Australia, Sir William Macartney and Sir Francis Newdegate.
