Nelson, Donna J., 1954-
Donna Nelson was born in Eufaula, Oklahoma, a small town known as the center of the Muscogee Creek Nation. She obtained her PhD in chemistry at the University of Texas at Austin. Nelson was a faculty fellow in the University of Oklahoma Provost's Office; she was the first woman faculty fellow. In 2016, she served as president of the American Chemical Society.
